Poetics

Love and laughter ran out the door,
When the haters and greedy entered.
Confidence and freedom was seen no more.
When they made our land a stop over.

Our resources were taken away from us,
When they were scared we might run them over.
They brought machine guns to kill us,
We were jailed by men from the sail.

When the revolution took place,
We started to hate each other.
When there were resources to chase,
We started to shoot each other.

We twisted the statement of making the enemy our friend,
We partnered with the enemy to kill our brothers and sisters.
We wanted everything for ourselves and to own a piece of land 'till the end,
When men demanded a reasonable salary we shot them regardless of their blisters.

Poetics.
